چکیده

(1) Background: The aim of our study was to determine the role oxidative stress (OS) during early evaluation acute ST-elevated myocardial infarction (STEMI) and non-ST-elevated (NSTEMI) patients in order define redox balance profiling development (MI). (2) Methods: This prospective observational case-control included 40 consecutive STEMI 39 NSTEMI hospitalized coronary care unit cardiology clinic at Kragujevac Clinical Center, Serbia, between 1 January 2016 2017. Blood samples were collected from all for measuring cardio-specific enzymes admission 12 h after evaluate systemic biomarkers activity antioxidant enzymes. (3) Results: In this study, participants predominately female (52%), with a mean age 56.17 ± 1.22 years old group 69.17 3.65 non-STEMI group. According Killip classification, majority (>50%) second third level. We confirmed elevation superoxide anion radicals 6 comparison CTRL groups, but levels had decreased admission. Levels hydrogen peroxide statistically significantly increased A positive correlation troponin I observed (r = 0.955; p 0.045), as well an inverse reduced glutathione NT-pBNP measured −0.973; 0.027). (4) Conclusions: that together hs-troponin hospital treatment could be predictors ST evolution.

GRACE score also predicts anatomic complexity of coronary artery disease patients presenting with non-STEMI

Acute Coronary Syndromes (ACS) represent the most common cause of death in the western world. We retrospectively screened data of non-STEMI patients admitted to the coronary care unit of a tertiary center between March 2015 and March 2016. GRACE score was calculated and patients were classified into low (1 to 108), intermediate (109 to 140) and high risk (>40) groups according to GRACE categori...
